+ leitura no Verão

A ser verdade que o Verão é mesmo a altura para pôr a leitura em dia, em boa hora o júri do Booker Prize anunciou a longlist dos candidatos deste ano que aqui se transcreve:

On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan (Jonathan Cape);
What Was Lost by Catherine O'Flynn (Tindal Street);
Consolation by Michael Redhill (William Heinemann);
Animal's People by Indra Sinha (Simon & Schuster);
Winnie & Wolf by A N Wilson (Hutchinson).
Dos treze nomeados só sei a tradução do livro de Ian McEwan pela Gradiva, mas talvez haja de outros. Em todo o caso, entre pesquisas nas livrarias e encomendas na Amazon ainda se conseguem ler uns quantos até 16 de Outubro, dia da atribuição do prémio. Boas leituras.
